Your guide to flourishing relationships

About me

Welcome! I’m Suzanne, the heart and soul behind Positive Relationships. My journey in the realm of relationship counselling and coaching has been fuelled by a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate the complexities of their connections. With a rich background in integrative counselling, my approach is rooted in Systemic and Psychodynamic methodologies, tailored to bring out the best in your relationships.

Together, we’ll embark on a journey to address a spectrum of challenges, from enhancing communication and rebuilding trust to navigating the trials of work-life balance and the emotional turmoil of major life transitions. Whether you’re struggling with self-esteem, managing stress and anxiety, resolving conflicts at home or work, or adjusting to new family dynamics, my goal is to empower you with insights and strategies that pave the way for resilience and fulfilment.

The difference between Counselling & Coaching

Your story is unique, and so is your path to a healthier relationship. Let’s collaborate to identify your goals, broaden your perspectives, and equip you with the tools to transform your life. At Positive Relationships, your journey towards a brighter, more connected future begins.
Relationship Counselling deals with issues that are presenting in the here and now by looking into past history, patterns and behaviours, focusing on the reasons why you do the things you do, by understanding why you do the things you do, it helps to create a new level of awareness enabling you to identify and make the necessary changes to improve and strengthen your relationship.

Relationship Coaching focuses on present issues causing difficulties within the relationship and the behaviours that are contributing to them.  So, with coaching we are focusing on the unhelpful behaviours and gaining a clear understanding of why certain behaviours are unhelpful to your relationship.  I work with you to create a clear transformative outcome plan working towards replacing old behaviour patterns with new healthy sustainable ones.
